Data License

All datasets published by AirData.kz — including measurements, station metadata, and geographic data — are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

You are free to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the data in any medium or format
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the data for any purpose, including commercial

Under the following terms:

• Attribution — you must give appropriate credit. A simple mention such as "Source: AirData.kz" or "Data: AirData.kz (airdata.kz)" is sufficient.

The raw data we collect originates from public monitoring networks (KazHydroMet, AirGradient, OpenAQ, WAQI). We do not claim ownership of the original measurements — our license applies to the cleaned, harmonized dataset and the value we add through quality control and standardization.
